Illinois 6th Congressional District
Campaign Background
Niki is a businesswoman. Today she is an Energy Consultant. She understands de-carbonization, what will work and what won’t work. Previously, she spent 12 years in healthcare working with large health systems. She knows how to deliver healthcare. While there she wrote corporate policy that impacted all segments of the population – from high-income to low-income populations, and rural to urban areas. She knows how to write meaningful policy. She has owned her own staffing business. So, she understands the challenges of small business owners – and understands what it takes to get people back to work.
Niki has a strong educational background, a broad base of experience, and strong leadership skills. She is a strategic thinker and good negotiator. She is a graduate of the University of Chicago School of Economics and has an MBA in Healthcare Administration from George Washington University in WDC. Simply put, Niki has the strongest bio across candidates and is best positioned to win back voters who have moved away from the GOP over the last few cycles. She has strong ties to the community and a message that resonates with the electorate.
Early Life
Niki is a proud single-mother and life-long resident of the western suburbs of Chicago.
She is the daughter of an immigrant and comes from a long line of veterans. Niki’s grandfather fought in France in WWI, her uncle was Rainbow Division in WWII, her dad is a Korean War veteran. Her maternal grandfather came through Ellis Island and fought in WWII to gain citizenship. Her uncles are one army, one navy. So, she definitely has the fight in her!
Recently, she has witnessed adverse effects on the community due to the influx of the liberal agenda. Being concerned, she is compelled to take a stand, preserve the sanctity of our liberties and freedoms, and push back on the progressive left.
Community Involvement
Niki is a leader in her professional career and in the community. She has been involved with numerous philanthropic efforts through her church, as well as with IOCC (International Orthodox Christian Charities), and Mothers2Mothers Charities.
For a number of years, she worked in large health systems where she came to understand the needs of the community for more affordable and transparent healthcare—and more choice.
She has grown up in a family-owned business and has a keen sense of the challenges small businesses face. Recognizing these businesses are the foundation of our economy, and she is committed to easing the regulations placed on small businesses by the left-wing agenda and providing them with support.
