Re: Conforti for Congress releases polling which has Democrat Congressman Sean
Casten failing to break 50%; Republican challenger Niki Conforti says District is in
play in the competitive IL-06 District.

Is Sean Casten Feeling the Pinch? Republican Challenger Niki Conforti Releases Internal Polling
Days After Incumbent Democrat Calls for Joe Biden to Step Aside.
Now, he is no better off with the most likely presidential nominee, Kamala Harris.
By the numbers: Casten is at 44% to Conforti’s 35%, with 21% remaining undecided according to an
internal poll conducted by Cor Strategies.

“This polling indicates what everyone on the ground has sensed for some time. Voters across the
District are growing more informed about how radical Sean Casten and his out of touch views are
regarding bread-and-butter issues such as crime, the economy, and border security” says Conforti.
The poll surveyed 500 likely voters between June 3rd – 6th. The survey has a margin of error of +/-
3.35 percentage points.

“With the Democrat Party in disarray over the lack of leadership from Joe Biden, and his recent
withdrawal, now is the time for Republicans to stand up and show that we have common sense
solutions. I hope to communicate how our Republican policies will benefit the voters as we
approach the upcoming November election” Conforti continued.

IL-06 has been of interest to Republicans, both locally and nationally, since Sean Casten unseated
former Congressman Peter Roskam in 2018. The district, which includes large parts of DuPage
County, also brought in the moderate terrain of the Southwest Side of the City of Chicago and
surrounding Cook County suburbs in the 2021 redistricting process.
